National Service Scheme (NSS)

National Service Scheme [NSS] aims at the importance of democratic living and self-less service. The motto of NSS- “Not Me But You.” The symbol of NSS is based on the Giant Rath (Chariot) of World famous Konark Sun Temple at Orissa. There are eight bars in the wheel representing 24 hours of the day, where the NSS volunteers should be lively, active, energetic and full of spirit. Read more »

Sanjeevini Eco Club

This club aims at bringing about ecological awareness among students. Preservation and Conservation of Ecology and Bio-Diversity is what the students are thought.Every year various public beneficial programmes are conducted by this club.

Computer Club

This club aim at developing interests in the field of computers among students who wish to explore beyond their academic syllabus . It aims at exploiting the tech geek in them. It helps at enhancing their skills at programming and designing.

Sociological Club

This club was established in 2005 by Mr. Vijay Alva. It aims at creating awareness about the social problems faced by the society. It helps at reconstructing the society into one single unit that sees all as one. it orgaises various competitions for students on the various social relavent evils.

Interact Club

Interactive activities are held during weekends which helps students to relax amidst of their busy academic studies and exams.

Sports and Games Club

This club aims at bringing out the athletes spirit in all the hidden "Usain Bolts" of our college. Students are trained not just to run, throw and jump but the true values of a sportsman. Experienced coaches from various sports field come to specially train our students in their respective games.

Cultural Association

After the invasion of western culture, people tend to forget our Ancient Indian culture. Cultural programmes are held to awaken the students and make them realise the importance of ancient Indian tradition and culture. Students perform plays, skits and dramas depicting Indian culture.

Sahitya Sangha

This aims at encouraging students to write poems, short stories, essays, novels in Kannada, Hindi and English. Thus it helps students to develop interest in literature. Some of the best poems and articles from students are published in the College magazine.

Yakshagana

Interested students are trained in the classical play art of coastal Karnataka. Professional Yakshagana artists train young students to perform Yakshagana. Yakshagana is a folk dance which is very popular in coastal regions.

Chess Club

Chess Clubs aims to develop skills of students in playing Chess game. Training is given to students regarding the tactics and thinking required to excel in the game. Matches and chess tournaments are held frequently among students. Chess develops mental capablities of students.

Karate & Martial Arts Club

This club aims at teaching the art of self defence along with self discipline. Under the expert and proffessinal guidance of Shifu Mr. K Baburaj and his team, the students are trained on weekly basis. Club has produced some of most well known state level karate practitioners.

Science Club

This club was started with intension of encouraging students to develop interest in science and technology. Immense encouragement is given to harness creativity and innovation in students. Students from our college have bagged several prizes in several science exhibitions.

Scouts & Guides

Boys and girls from high school are trained to develop self-discipline and stewardness. Scouts are meant for Boys and Guides are meant for girls.
